Who is AMI?

(Acts Ministries International) AMI is an apostolic and prophetic Christian ministry based in Phoenix, Arizona -USA.

Founder

Dennis Bourns is the founder and director of AMI, Dennis has 33 years ministry experience, having ministered in over 50 nations. Dennis functions as a prophetic and apostolic minister, having ministered to many thousands of people including heads of state and the queen of a nation.

AMI also has an associate and an office in Northern Ireland.

What is AMI About?

Discipleship

The focus of AMI is discipleship, which equips the saints (Eph.4:11-13) in the power and authority of the Kingdom of God, resulting in believers who can function in Spiritual gifts.

AMI produces and provides training tools so that local churches can disciple their people in word and spirit. AMI also does city wide or denominational group conferences and seminars.

Leadership Training and Developement

Leadership training and development is also a focus of AMI, we provide training for leadership development, when God so appoints AMI also provides personal apostolic and prophetic mentoring to Christian leaders. AMI has an intern program for leadership development, which can include training in prophetic and apostolic ministry.

Renewal

Renewal is also a ministry focus of AMI, we intend to share a message and ministry to the church at large in the world that brings spiritual renewal, resulting in churches and believers that are coming to the maturity of Christ in character and ministry function. We want to give the best we have to those churches that need it (renewal), no matter where they are or what their denominational affiliation maybe.

Apostolic Relationships

Apostolic relationships with churches and Christian leaders, AMI recognizes that in Christianity effective kingdom ministry requires healthy relationships. For AMI, apostolic, means "those who are sent by God on a mission with His authority and anointing". For AMI we are looking for those God wants to send us to, so we can serve them with what He has given us.. Luke 10:8-9)

What type of theological perspective does AMI have?

Dennis Bourns is also a local church pastor for 30 years, he is senior pastor of Vineyard Church, in Phoenix Arizona. AMI is not typical Pentecostal or Charismatic in theology or practice, but is "Empowered Evangelical", in theology and practice. More simply stated, we would be a "Word and Spirit" based ministry, solid Bible bases and explanation for our ministry practice & with credible Holy Spirit activity.

Why is this important?

We minister in a vast variety of Evangelical churches, our message and ministry is always compatible in Evangelical churches because our theology and practice is credible and acceptable to them. We also minister in Pentecostal churches and they embrace our theology and practice also, how novel is that?
